Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.

1. Name of the Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
   
No. of Post: 05 posts
Salary: Rs. 35,000.00 + HRA (10%) = Rs. 38,500.00.
Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Environmental Science/ Life Sciences/Biotechnology with NET/GATE Educational Qualification and Two (2) years analytical experience or M.Tech in Engineering with GATE with 1 year experience.


2. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
   
No. of Post: 10 posts
Salary: Rs. 28,000.00 + HRA (10%) = Rs. 30,800.00
Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Environmental Science/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology with NET/GATE Educational Qualification or Engineering in any discipline with GATE qualification.

Age Limit: Age not exceeding 32 years for Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) and 28 years for Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) as on the date of interview. The age criteria may be relaxed on special cases if arises.
