Name of the Post: Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI)
No. of the Post: 690 ( UR: 536, SC: 103 & ST: 51 )
Salary: Rs. 14,000/- Rs 60,500/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 6200/-
Qualification:
a) Graduate from any recognized University.

b) Candidate should have completed five years of regular service including basic training in the grade or five years combined regular service as Constable/GD, Head Constable/GD and Constable/TM as on 01.08.2020 as mentioned in Para-2 see the advertisement.


Age Limit:
35 years as of 01.08.2020 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1985.

General other Backward Class Scheduled Caste	170 cm	157 cm
Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Maratas and candidates belonging to the States/UTs of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.	165 cm	155 cm
ST	162.5 cm	154 cm
Gorkhas and Scheduled Tribes of North Eastern States	157 cm	157 cm

2. Chest (For male only)

For all candidates (Except Scheduled Tribes): 80-85 cms
All candidates belonging of Scheduled Tribes: 77-82 cms
