The department related to this examination decided to conduct both Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) level TET in the month of September 2019.

Assam TET 2019 is being conducted after seven years. Assam Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 will be held on 22 or 29 September 2019 as per reports. The exam is for recruiting teachers for the lower primary(LP) and upper primary(UP) classes in schools. The lower primary category includes classes from one to five whereas the upper primary category pertains to the classes sixth, seventh, and eighth. The Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhijan (RMSA) is responsible for Assam TET 2019. Candidates will find all important information regarding Assam TET 2019 here.

The Assam TET 2019 will be held after a gap of 7 years. Since TET certificate is valid for 7 years only, therefore all candidates who cleared TET last time and their certificates have expired, will have to appear in the exam again. The exam is held with Paper I and Paper II following NCTE guidelines. As per reports, the paper will be held in Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, English languages.

Assam TET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

A set of eligibility criteria for Assam TET 2019 that is required to be fulfilled by candidates for being able to sit for the exam. Candidates who are looking forward to appearing for the exam must ensure that they qualify the eligibility criteria for Assam TET 2019. Exam Pattern

The exam conducting body will announce the Assam TET 2019 exam pattern. It is expected that the duration of the examination is of 3 hours. Teachers Eligibility Test consists of all multiple-choice questions. Altogether, the detailed exam pattern will be available with notification.
